Way OT , but...
I did not think that you could uplink to a satellite from your house.
Why would they let you do that? It was my impression that the phone
connection used by the sat. modem was the uplink using traditional land
line, and that you were getting only the downlink part from the dish.
Then again, you have Irridium satellite based two way radio, so I
suppose it is possible.

How much are you paying? I looked at their web site recently and it was
pretty pricey, especially for Mac/Linux users because you have to get
the
ethernet version.
