[sdiy] Soaking keys to remove filth and paint speckles - what solution?

I have used the orange-based hand cleaners to remove paint, and it
shouldn't attack the plastic, AFAIK. Just the same, test it on the
underside of one of the keys first, just to be certain. I would let it
soak for thirty minutes or so, and then wash it off (don't use the hand
soap to scrub, it is mildly abrasive). The paint should soften up enough
to be easily removed.
