well since you want to get serious...

All the theremins I'm aware of (PAiA, Etherwave)
run at frequencies below 1MHz.

They are VERY low power and are unlikely to interfere
with most RF systems... and are probably not regulated
by any agencies (that we admit to)...

I was travelling to Canada with my rig for a s-diy
meeting. I *was* worried about explaining all the
homebuilt gear, especially the Theremin...

My wife said "Oh if they stop us I'll tell them we're
going to Toronto to catch a plane"... when they ask
what plane ? I'll reply "oh I don't know... a BIG
plane"   :^P
