SPDT - On-None-(On)
Two positions only. Always spring loads back to the same position. That
position can be on or off (NO or NC) depending on wiring.
SPDT - (On)-Off-(On)
Three positions (center off) Alwasy springs back to the center from either
of the two outside position.
SPDT - On-Off-(On)
Three positions (center off) - one position springs back to center, the
other side does not spring return.

Subject: [sdiy] Momentary Toggle Switch question
I want to order some high quality momentary toggle switches so I can
finish putting together my Milton sequencer. All I need is a simple
SPST or SPDT switch that has a voltage on one terminal that gets routed
to the other terminal when the switch is held down.
Going through Mouser's catalog, I'm a little puzzled at the different
options available. Which of these would be the best choice for that
purpose?
SPDT - On-None-(On)
SPDT - (On)-Off-(On)
SPDT - On-Off-(On)
Thanks,
Romeo
