Hi There Other Tim,

Me personally, I'd try to trade Hero for a scope. I would think that any
electronics inside the 'bot would be easily duplicated, so my opinion is
that you're better off finding someone who wants a Hero and getting
something VERY useful in exchange. You might even want to check out eBay to
see if any are for sale, so you can get an idea what he might be worth. 

Also, congrats for de-lurking ("uncloaking" for you Star Trek fans) on SDIY,
and double congrats on finding an understanding spouse! My wife told me the
other day that since I liked the Matrix-12 so much, I should go ahead and
buy one. I almost cried. ;) (partially out of joy, and partially because
there's no way I can afford an M12).
