Well, frankly, I'm not sure this kind of question makes any sense...
I mean : in the early 60's, oscillators were considered as just another
sound source among many others by composers of "musique concrete"...
Then, the growing sophistication of electronic devices lead to a musical
style per se named "electronic music"; so, even if several ppl were very
active & prolific in exploring & shaping such a musical style, I'm not sure
anyone can be credited as "godfather"...

Finding "godfathers" in any domain looks much more like a
compulsive activity for young & immature blokes in desperate
search for father-like figures (I'm refering to what I read during the
past years in various mailing lists dedicated to bands & music styles,
but NOT to this very thread on this very list)...
