Hi Larry, I neglected to say the first time was
in Georgia over 6 years ago.... Still hurts though!
At the time I was sweating bullets. It was my
first time replacing a SMD DSP. I had to buy it
from Canada and pay a huge duty on a chip that
was already $90 bucks!! Then I had to buy a
princess iron and magnifier :) Holy moley!!

I was an Amiga guy at the time and it took out
my new $1000 dollar A3000 Roasted the i/o
chips... Connected to the modem....and midi to
the sampler..... Right....:(

I've been on broadband 4 years now and this was
the first time I've ever had problems... Lucky for
me the big $ stuff all belonged to the cable co. :)

No doubt at all about the grounding mess.. The guy
who installed broadband in our Houston home had
to come back twice with help!! Unreal! There are
evidently no minimum requirements.. :)

Regards
Tom
