    don't forget there's always the option to use hardware to bend the
Oct -> Hz curve... 10v signals shouldn't be a problem for most processors
with basic designs... conversion would be nice and accurate, but depending
on how it's done you'd have quantized outputs though, and as far as i know
no schemmys or code available on SDIY sites...
