I'd love to show too.  I'll have to wait til we get closer to see if 
I'll be available to make a trip then though.  I don't know what you 
guys do at these.  Maybe I can throw in the Crumar DS-1 I just got today 
for show and tell :-).  Only about a hundred of these in the world I 
hear.  I'm going to have to put up some pics of the insides.  Looks 
pretty hand wired.  Really decent construction!  Crumar...cheap?  They 
used mother boards with pin edge board interconnects for all the digital 
stuff on the left and some analog there.  There's an analog board in the 
bottom with 4 or 5 3080's and several transistor arrays and op amps 
power supply in a metal enclosure on the right and another small board 
under the key board.  And then all the front panel stuff of course.  
Really laid out nice to work on. EXCELLENT solder job.  I haven't found 
a knuckled joint yet after going through all the boards on the left and 
cleaning the interconnect pins and sockets...oh yes every chip in this 
thing is socketed!!  The keyboard is totally unique to me.  Sort of 
Pratt-Read in design but better except no screws holding down the key 
caps.  A couple started to come off as the glue has become brittle over 
the years.  A little goop adhesive and it's all nice again. I'll post a 
pic of the key also and see if anyone recognizes it from other units 
(DS-2, Multiman?)  Nice quality switches and pots.  Cleaned them up they 
seem to work fine.  I still only have one note play though.  Figure that 
out and I think it will all be working!  --Bob
