 Maybe I did not make myself clear. The OTAs have gone away. Perhaps
one could take advantage of SMD to replace them. I am fully aware that
the 3080 and 3280 devices are not available in SMD package. So no it is
not two different issues.
 I do not understand your last point. I am a electrical engineer, I feel totally
capable of of designing a OTA myself or stealing, ahem,excuse me, borrowing
some other design if it works. If it is a better mouse trap I will use it.
We all do this, do we not?

Two different issues, of course. 3080 30280 not available in SMT.
