No boards have been sold to the EAR group. They will have to make all the
boards themselves.

There has been quite of stockpiling though, but not from them. I managed
to get around six months of orders on two weeks following my announcement
to close the modular sales. We had to re-run several boards again to
satisfy demand.

But that is probably it from me. I probably won't be doing much more
modular stuff on my own now. I say 'probably' for you should never say
never. But my next project will be to revitalise the Orbital, but I'm
going to do that for fun not profit. Profit can get in the way of fun.

I don't think this is so bad. If you bought ready made units from me then
I only did them in Oakley format. The ready made market is bigger than
the kit market, the margins are higher and there is more scope for
publicity. If EAR want to make money, they are probably better sticking
to the ready made market.

And as Ian says this isn't rocket science, there are now lots of
wonderful PCB based designs out there for you to chose from. This isn't
video killing radio stars... the synth-DIY area has never offered so much
choice.
