Hehe. I concluded that the woman who sold me the JX10 was "de-minted".
You should have heard Scott Morales this friend of mine when he saw the
thing. I bought it for him but after seeing it could only say "THat
HO!". Hehe.
No no the guy was straight up about the thing having problems with
the keys. He did say the other stuff worked though and it didn't when I
got it, nor with the severity of the beer spill...did I see how it
possibly COULD have worked. Maybe the beer spilled on it as it was
being packed and he just didn't notice. I have no idea. Anyway.. he
apparently tried some stuff from the top but got nowhere with the
keyboard. I wondered from our communication if perhaps he knew a little
more than he let on but regardless I'm glad to have the thing working.
Too many weirdo projects like this piled up. -Bob
