EAR is currently not selling kits because our exclusive licensing
agreement with Oakley Sound is specifically for selling complete
modules.
EAR chose to license and produce Oakley Sound modules because they're
solid products from Tony Allgood - a reputable designer.
We were already setting up assembly ops for multiple lines when we read
the June 16th announcement that Oakley Sound was discontinuing
production.
Like many on this board, we're musicians that didn't want to see Oakley
Sound completely vanish and we wanted to keep Tony's designs available.
All of the Oakley Sound product sold by EAR will be new production,
using all new parts from the PCB's to the faceplates to the knobs.
