Ask what he means by 'in tolerence'. Perhaps his idea of tolerence
is more tolerent than a person who ACTUALLY HAS TO MAKE SOMETHING WORK.
:-). Or like that. Then tell him the problem you are having with his
'tolerences' and that about a million other people would also and that
they need to change their description to read correctly on the item or
whatever. I've never had to deal with Jameco on anything like this but
I don't make them out as the kind of company that I couldn't get to
perform with the right wording. Sometimes it requires a little patience
and 'creative education' when dealing with alledged 'techs' at these
companies. They are usually just guys who were doing sales calls and
someone noticed one day that they actually knew that the little colored
bands on things weren't just to make them prettier or something. -Bob
