Because you get someone's undivided attention, and the interaction 
bandwidth is much higher. It automatically puts you at or near the top of 
the 'To do' queue. And you can pressure them directly and check their 
responses.

Emails are like writing letters. If someone's busy or not very together, 
they just won't bother.
