linear control using 2164 was recently published in EDN(?) by one of the
list members. It was cool trick to use one cell as CV converter.
And exponential control is free. It has about 0.2V per octave sensitivity. I
get about 20 octaves range from VCO made with 2164. Not measured how well it
tracks at the ends, but anyway it's ultrasonic or LFO out there so who would
care anyway. I might also mention that my 2164 VCF is also sweet :)
