I dont suppose anyone knows of a good source for Sprague 36D's do they?
Mouser carries 36DY and DX, the D is an older part, still in production. I
need those in particular because they have a shorter/fatter footprint.
I'm trying to rebuild an old Dynaco amp ( actually a pair of them, ST120's
if anyones into Dynaco stuff ) . When I did my last one I got the 36D's
from Newark. Thankfully in both amps I already replaced the large output
caps which have the choke wound on them, so now I just need to do power
supply.
If worse comes to worse I'll just get some modern SnapIn caps which are
hella smaller and cheaper and silicone them into rings that will fit the
clamps in the chassis, but I'd like to avoid that.
I'm looking for 500uf, 1000uf, and 3300uf all 100wvdc. Larger values fine
if they're under 3.5" tall including screws.
