One obvious choice in PNP is the
Analog Devices MAT-03 (TO-5)
I'd look into the 2SA798 for a cheap plastic
package that is pretty good ...
Or transistors from THAT corporation... you can
buy low quantities from Jim Patchell
(who btw is an excellent trader. AFTER my stuff
arrived and I forgot to confirm delivery, he contacted
me to be sure I got my 'stuff' :^)
