I'll drink to that.
I'd even go so far as to say, that in an ideal world, the absolute frequency
of a note should be a function of the notes playing immediately before,
during,
and directly after it.
To realise a strategy of this nature, you must have a digital approach.
Nothing to stop the digits controlling analog synths, of course!
