There is a unpublished law of the universe, if you have a girlfriend, you
don't get anything done.  However, if you don't have a girlfriend, the
easiest way to get one is to start a large project.  Some karma thing
detects your interest in the project and transmutes it into some kind of
pheremone attraction that ends with you becoming hopelessly involved with a
new girlfriend who causes you to spend all available time on her instead of
your project.
