How about "Leveraged". Now there is a word that makes me cringe. It
should be "we used leverage". If we stuck to this very 90's way of
making up words we could say things like "I drainaged my house so that
the basement would not flood"

Sorry folks, but that is American business speak for you, and it ain't
pretty.

I know this has nothing to do with the topic or the conversation, but it
bugs me really badly.
