Audiophile-grade components, etc. aren't usually based upon scientific
fact any more than they're rooted in reality, which is why no one
successfully uses science to prove that they work and why one can't
use science to disprove them to audiophiles who believe in them.
Hmmm... perhaps there's money to be made by charging audiophiles an
nice fee for casting spells on their equipment to make it sound
better! Before long, they may begin believing that a cheap boom box
can suddenly be transformed into something superior to their formerly
favorite hi-fi system without the need for making any physical
modifications! It's all quite simply mind over matter. :-)
While it may all seem ridiculous to many, they are having fun, so
perhaps it's not right for us to spoil their fun, but help them to
have more fun by providing them with more audiophile grade devices and
equipment at a nice price which can subsidize our synth building. :-)
:-) :-)
Just think, audiophile-grade anything is a possibility... audiophile
grade shoes, audiophile grade curtains, audiophile grade paint,
audiophile grade eye-glasses, audiophile-grade cable added insulation
(to cover audiophile grade cables with), audiophile-grade
screwdrivers, audiophile-grade replacement screws, audiophile grade
imported mail-order wives or husbands, audiophile-grade circuit-board
coating, etc... the list of possibilities is infinite!
