[sdiy] Real cause of DIY death

P.S. I don't really agree with the subject of this email .. I've got 5 
sdiy projects on the go at the moment - all will cost me less than going 
out and buying something similar 'off the shelf' (if indeed it was 
actually possible to buy something exactly equivalent).  And although 
all projects are analog, 3/5 are using a PIC (for MIDI interfacing) .. 
this is an area which is vastly easier today than it used to be back in 
the days of Z80s and UART chips (being relatively young, that's as far 
back as I go :)

P.P.S. The projects are:
"NoizBox"
"JoyKontrol"
Oakley 3031
Analog (BBDs count as analog, right?) chorus
Analog (diito) flanger

When I eventually make the time to type some html I'll put up some 
details ....
