[sdiy] Good news -- the ICM7556 dual timer made it!

Hi All,

With all the posts about components that didn't make it 'cross the 
Pb-free boundary,
I thought I'd post a positive one about the ICM7556 timer.
It seems Intersil finds the part worthy of life after 1-1-2006.
And.. it's in PDIP format! So no problems with shakey hands (you 
shouldn't have had that Shandy!) or bad eyesight.
I wish I could report on a more interesting component, but at least 
there is one out there that will let us
produce lots of noise.

Back to the soldering iron -- at which end do I hold this thing anyway... ?
