The difficulty is to get a triangle of uniform height, no matter what the 
frequency of the LFO. Once you do that, you are right.
Because if you turn an integrator on, then reverse it, (whether this
is done in analog or by counting & convertingthe count as it runs)
the triangle peaks are higher, when the frequency is lower.
So you need (for analog) a reciprocal multiplier, or digital 
program equivalent.
