Hi there, tube and transistor lovers!

Erik Forsling, Sweden. I have a question regarding this nice old Serge
circuit at Larry's site. (Have a look at
http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/schematics/serge.jpg)
Is seems like a simple, yet effective circuit. (The peak function must be
the best way to combine envelopes for example - to make longer, more
interesting envelopes.) However, they are both intended for monopolar,
positive signals only, right? I'd like to make the trough output the
negative half of incoming bipolar signals instead. Am I right to assume that
the +6V should then be connected to GND, and the GND below the output to
something like -6V(and some resistor values changed)? Also, should I buffer
the outputs, or is that kind of overkill?
