I was just wondering if there's an easy way to modify a VCR so it can record
directly from DVD. As we all know, these things have an anti-pirating device
that is activated when you press the record button. It seems like the
engineers came up with a phase "unlock" between units I/O, when in record
mode.

Any diy tweaking advice would be helpful.

Just want to copy some Disney stuff for my daughter. Is stealing Disney a
crime?
