[sdiy] MIDI controller Kit

Hi,

A friend has recently replaced his "small but with lots of knobs and switches 2 octaves midi controller keyboard" for a "bigger and more piano like midi controller keyboard", that, appart from the keys, it only has pitch and modulation wheels... no switches, no knobs...

Do you know of any DIY Kit for a midi controller for pots and switches? or any easy project with a PIC micro? (first option preferred, since he is not very keen on electronics)
