Phew.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if
there's one thing I don't miss about vinyl,
it's surface noise.  I have a few MP3 dance tracks
that were dubbed from vinyl, and even with the compression,
the surface noise sets my teeth on edge.  Makes me wonder
how I ever managed to put up with it before CDs came along.
