[sdiy] Blank 'MOTM' panels

I made my cabinets and used 1/4" stained and varnished birch ply for
the rear . At the time I only filled up half the cabinet and
wondered what I was going to fill in the empty spaces with. I just
used a left-over piece of birch ply. I just drilled two holes in
each end. Every time I filled in a module, I'd just take the cover
and cut 1-3/4" off of it and drilled two new holes. Worked
great. Finally only had 4U of panel left and just recently used this
for a VFD display.

They 'skim' on the thickness so it wasn't quite 1/4" and only stuck
out a little from the other panels. I have also glued black paper to
left over panels. My empty spaces don't seem to last very long. I
have only one remaining photo of a wood panel on my site - third
photo from the bottom.
