Hmmm, an 'E-Z Bake' soldering iron?
Someone with a cruel bent could have some fun in the audiophile
forums. Introduce them to some late 19th century physics: the
Poynting Field. Describe energy flux to them and how energy is
basically transferred everywhere but in the wire. In fact, the
better the wire, the less energy transporting it does. Point them
to a few useful websites. Sit back and watch some interesting new
theories of sound reproduction come into existence along with a new
set of products for the discerning audiophile: "Ether Clarifier,"
"Field Divergence Refocuser," or the "EM Curl Relaxer."
