Molex makes a prototype crimp tool for about $35 that does almost
all their pins.   Real dedicated tools go fro $125 and up.  Compare that
with
AMP whose tools usually range in the $700 and up class and I think you
can
make a wise choice.

I'm using the Molex "Centi-Grid"  .1" spacing connectors these days...
they are
available in both PCB and free standing versions.
