I had to take an original Trinity apart several times; since Korg are
great fans of re-using frames and chassis (the original Trinity and the
Z1 have almost exactly the same mechanicals and chassis, and I swapped
several parts between the two as I kept them alive for live use) I
would guess that the Pro/X follows the same thought processes. Assuming
that's the case, you'll have to go in through the bottom. You remove
the entire piece of sheet metal that comprises the bottom, then if you
want to remove the circuit boards you'll almost certainly have to
remove the keyboard assembly entirely. (This is un-fun, especially for
an 88. Plan on about 70 screws for this.)

Once you've removed the entire keyboard assembly, you take out the
screws on the backplane. After that, you can undo the screws on the
boards themselves. The board that contains the knobs, buttons, and
screen is separate from the motherboard, and rides underneath it
(looking from the bottom.) Long story short, if you want to get at the
panel that contains the front panel stuff, you're going to have to take
out _everything_.

Taking apart a Trinity is so little fun, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
I definitely wouldn't want to do an 88. I hope you have a good reason
for it.
