It is very close. I compared the internal schemtics in my TI "Linear Circuits
Data Book" from 1984. Input circuit and current reference is basically the
same. First amplifier stage also, the output stage is naturally different. But
in the overall, they are basically just natural variation of the same circuit,
so they really belong to the same family, the TL06x.

Like for instance we have in the Buchla 258 and Oberheim SEM VCOs.
