I seem to recall a thread on this a couple of weeks ago. For what it's
worth, I ordered something from Probe Master the other day and they
sent me one of these for free (first item on the page):

I don't know if it will hold full-size 1/4" patch cords, but it works
fine for the 3.5mm miniature ones which have been proliferating around
my studio space. Small, but cheap, so I guess you could get a bunch of
them and mount them however you wish.
