Guys, you have *no* excuse for behaving like that.
Bloody noses? Humilation? Nobody's self-esteem depends on what others say
in the first place, but mostly on how you act yourself.
I'm not speaking this to a specific person, but in general.

If I were Rick, I'd shut down the whole list for a week or so. Maybe
afterwards
we have gone back to normal?
As long as you think you have to reply to everything that might "humilate"
you,
it will surely go on. It's the principle of any war ...

And yes, I also replied to this crap now. So send me all the complaints you
like,
I can take it.  8-)
I have no problems of deleting 99% of list mail for another week or so, but
hey, when somebody reads all this stuff in the archives 5 years from now,
don't you
think it will be embarrassing?
