[sdiy] Analog Originals vs. Digital "Recreations"

Because digital is much cheaper to manufacture, they usually have more 
features and a lower price.

However, digital units have a texture that can only be described as 
"lifeless" by comparison. Everything is too precise, too cold. No fun.
