I recently bought one from a danish electronics store, for
ca. 5$, but when i wanted to by a few more it appered that
i bought the last he had.

I googeled around a bit and found a couple of places in
Germany where they were sold for around 40 Euro and a US
shop that sold them for i think it was 25 $.

I did of course not save the links.

Another source is ebay where SID chips are regularly put up
for sale.
