Besides taking the SID chip out of old c64s, are there any actual suppliers?
google is worthless. One can only assume that after 20 years it's out of
production. So then the question reverts to, are there any independant
suppliers who have some strange stockpile?
I can't find a supplier for the 8521 version, or whatever, so is that
apparently out of production too?

Thoughts?

I feel really wasteful tearing it out of a perfectly good commodore. :/

p.s. i feel like im harrassing you guys about this. maybe i should take it
to the commodore mailing list. is there a commodore mailing list? :/
