They haven't deprived us of the 741 yeat. You know you need it, don't you! ;O)

But yes, I agree, things are looking bleak and we have to seriously look
around and see what OTAs, VCAs and what have you that we can use, whatever
package that might be.

What is the next generation of analogue gear being built on as standard
components? Have things improved elsewhere in universe? Is there any new stuff
out there that might be more or less directly replacements?
