As if things wasn't baad enough with the demise of the
CA3080 and CA3280, this is the reply i got from  
Fairchild semiconductor regarding the CA3083!

:Device CA3083 is being built from a die bank and will be discontinued. 
:I tried to get a time frame but no luck. I would guess that it would
:be within the next 12 months.

Yes Ian, Jim was right we better buy a bunch
of CA3083 for future use! (boooohooo) :-(

Bloody hell, soon there is nothing old and farty left!
