I tried plexiglass and then thought about bakelite (sp?). A lot of old
test equipment used it. I was going to use metal faceplates for
electrical boxes and then thought of the plastic front panels for
electrical
boxes.
These limit the size of the modules you can build but is easy to work
with.
Nothing commercial looking, but okay for me. The trick is to not drill
holes
larger than 1/8 inch. Anything larger than 1/8 inch is expanded with a
reaming tool I bought from mouser. The link in my signature shows a
completed module.
