I'm somewhat new to this and it seems radio shack/ mouser just won't cut it for alot of what I need. I realize that alot of the vintage parts are damn near impossible to find, but what about the modern substitutes, any leads here? Most useful would be some kind of general refrence material from which I can draw my own conclusions.
