Hi Nils,

OK. I have the datasheet, including the schematic of the interiour.

The basic story is that there is a JFET diff-pair, one gate is towards the
input pin, the other is towards the output/power pin. The diff-pair has a NPN
current mirror (with emitter resistors) to VEE (ground). The follows a current
amplifier stage, with a miller capacitor for frequency limitation, and which
is dynamically loaded with a current mirror output. This then drives the
output transistor. Both amplifier stages have current limitations in them.
Besides that is an internal current reference with a multi-headed
current-mirror towards the output/power rail. This feeds both the input stage
as well as the first amplifier stage.

Interesting little component. What if we had more of those! ;O)

Now, if that was enougth to satisfy you, then good. If you need the drug badly,
I suppose I could have the two pages scanned later at night (I do prefer to
stay focused on my GPIB hacking project though, very DIY-oriented I might
add!).

Cheers,
Magnus
