Also...take a look at this....:

The CA3083 is likely made at the same fab that was shut down that makes the 
CA3046, CA3080, CA3280...etc...so if you want to use the CA3083...I suggest 
you get them while you can.... :-(

The CA3083 is still listed as Active...however...this meant nothing for the 
CA3280 as it turned out.... (the CA3280 was active for a full year after 
the CA3080 was put on the discontinued list).
