That's interesting... I've never heard of that.

Even more near-on-topic issues: Hagström was the importer of Korg synths to 
Sweden in the 70's and gave them an external transformer (to more easily 
make them pass the electrical safety regulations) and a badge at the back, 
that's why Swedish MS-20s etc tend to look like this:
