too bad the rest of the BUD chassis (assuming its the Valu-line) pretty
much suck.   (not as hard as a BBD... but notice the similarity between
B~B~D and B~U~D  :^)

I have used them as well, the Schaeffer panels fit very well.  Its the thin
aluminum I object to... the screws strip out easily after you open the case
may times.  I assume in DIY you will open the case more often... if not then
maybe its OK.

I'd probably try and use the Sescom case, and make the Shaeffer panel thin
enough to fit the slot in their extrusion (no screws).  Some folk don't like the

loss of panel space taken by the extrusion, but the Bud has the same thing
(from the top and bottom flange).  You can also mount circuit boards direct to
the extrusions (no holes in the top or bottom of the case)
