I agree about how nice those Conn units are.  I got to use a couple of them 
during the years I was working on stuff.  I don't recall much about the 
Peterson one that I got to use once,  but I wasn't as impressed with it.

Never had any trouble with them during those times I was using them.  What 
sort of stuff did you run into that you use the word "night mare"?
