[sdiy] OB-8 Battery Replacement?

Greetings all,

I need to replace an aging battery in my OB-8, has anyone carried out this procedure before?  I assumed it would be an easy swap until I read somewhere on the web that system calibrations (particularly envelopes) are stored in memory- is this correct?

Has anyone carried out this procedure?  Tips and advice would be great, tia.
