[sdiy] oscillator gating

along the lines of starting and stopping oscillations at will, i have a 
similar situation with my tama techstar bass drum. there is a clicky thump 
that sporadically changes in volume at the beginning of the sound. i'm 
assuming this is due to the waveform being in mid cycle when the envelope 
starts. it's kind of nice for a little variation between beats, kind of like 
slightly varying acoustic impacts. it might be nice to have mechanical 
uniformity though. anyone know if it's possible to reset this oscillator 
with the circuit's trigger? the schematics are here:
